Ранние концепт-арты Metro Last Light
В связи с кончиной THQ и скорым выходом игры у нас появилась возможность взглянуть на концепт-арты для Metro Last Light, датируемые летом 2012 года. Изначально эти изображения планировалось использовать для небольших статей на сайте enterthemetro.com и имевших ссылки на официальную на тот момент игры. Из-за косорукости проектировщиков доступ к этому контенту ненадолго мог получить каждый желающий. Поскольку эта информация на тот момент не предназначалась для просмотра простыми смертными, все изображения являлись плейсхолдерами, а большая часть текста обычным lorem ipsum (бессмысленным набором слов).

Comrade Moskvin is the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Red Line Communist Party. He is a weak person who's constantly afraid of losing control over the situation, over the Red Line, and over his subjects. He is perpetually afraid of rivals. A control freak that hates any disobedience because of being too insecure, he is a regular hysteric, and lack of confidence and fear are his main stimuli.
He began his political career only because of his elder brother, who used to be a high-principled communist. Moskvin was constantly trying to best his brother, even though he did not believe one ounce of what he did. Moskvin used to be always jealous of his smart and talented brother, who was the favourite of their parents.
Once, during the elections at one of the stations, Moskvin was pitted against his brother, and although the latter won the ballot, he was found to be in possession of seriously compromising materials which eliminated his further political career. Moskvin's brother was sent away to a labor camp where his traces vanished. Moskvin won, and although he'd gained the power, he kept thinking he was not being treated seriously, he was not respected and not loved and that the people in his retinue know of his treachery...

Pyotr Kirillovich Rusakov, the president of Hansa, used to be the head of Komsomolskaya station.
During the first war between Hansa and the Red Line, Komsomolskaya-Radial fell under control of Hansa, while Komsomolskaya-Kol'tsevaya stayed within the Red Line's domain. Political refugees from all the stations of the Red Line started flocking to the radial station, and Rusakov did grant political asylum to all of them.
Komsomolskaya-Radial was under siege, though, since the reds held the Kol'tsevaya station firmly. When the Reds started their new push, they managed to cut off all the paths to retreat from the Komsomolskaya-Radial where the Hansa forces and the refugees were.
The Reds had made an offer of exchanging the Radial station for Kol'tsevaya – but Rusakov was supposed to hand all the refugees over. He could either save all his troops or fight to the bitter end. Reinforcements from Hansa were due in at least three days, and the term of the ultimatum was to run out in mere 24 hours. In these final days of the war Rusakov decided to avoid more fighting and gave the refugees out. It was his personal decision, nobody else knew anything of the deal.
The Hansa troops abandoned the station and the reds shot all the refugees at entry right before Rusakov's eyes. He was commended for a courageous political decision he took. The fact that he'd paid for safe passage of his troops with lives of hundreds of people who were first given hope and then betrayed, never became known in Hansa. Rusakov, living under constant pressure of guilt, made a vow to himself to never chicken out of anything again, and is still haunted by the ghosts of people killed because of him.

Upgrades available are an incendiary and flare shell, a long barrel, a buttstock, a silencer, and a 4-shell magazine.
Сюрприз:
The "Surprise" is a high-powered sniper rifle chambered in a large 14.5mm machine-gun cartridge. It comes stock with a scope, and an upgrade is a higher-powered scope.

Вау, крутая задумка с личинкой
Интересно, будет ли это в самой игре.
.... хотя модель руки ГГ и часов тут показаны из оригинального метро, видимо личинка была в очень ранних билдах LL раз использовала старый контент.
Мои надежны встретить эту бяку в финалке сведены к нулю. =(
Креветок и носачей новых в геймплейных видео мы увидели, а вот о головастиках в 10-минутной демке на болоте ни слуху, ни духу.
Интересно конечно что личинка могла бы сделать. Может укусить и галлюцинации пошли бы, а может под кожу залезть и заразить
Про гатлинг интересно. Написано что его можно апгрейдить, установить пять стволов(в роликах вроде 3 было) и моторизировать привод(в ролике ручной), тем самым поднять скорострельность. Осталось интересно это, или может его вообще носить с собой не разрешат.
