Действительно. Давайте все закроем свои проекты на ТЧ и перейдем на супер-новый ЧН и будем изобретать велосипед, перенося всё то, что было сделано на ТЧ, восстанавливая тонны вырезанного кода и страдая от бесконечных багов ЧН. А всё ради лагающего DX10, детекторов артефактов (которые без исходников КД делал), смену текстурки рук (которую тоже делали в ТЧ) и чувства собственного превосходства, когда все называют тебя идиотом. Всё, пойду срочно перенесу все локи на ЧН.

Тов. Flammable, тут у каждого свои "тараканы". И если одним людям по жизни нравится заниматься мазохизмом в виде ковыряния ТЧ, это вовсе не означает, что с появлением исходников ЧН они обязаны всё бросить и сразу перейти на следующий этап мазохизма. И у ТЧ, и у ЧН есть свои "плюсы" и "минусы", но это во многом зависит от субъективной оценки отдельно взятого моддера.

Единственный баг в чн - это война группировок. Все остальное это плюсы.
Тут тебе и графон, и укрытия, и движок положения суставов, и детекторы, и руки, и вменяемый апгрейд.

Когда говорят о бесконечных багах, то подразумевают ТЧ. В ЧН вложены тонны усилий, которые сводятся далеко не к "лагающему DX10" (объективно DX10 лучше во всем) и "смене текстурок руки".

Можно список примеров в readme к ЧН и патчам. На всякий случай напомню, что ЧН базируется на усовершенствованной версии xray.
Из того, с чем я близко знаком - баги мультиплеера и античитерские фичи.

"золотая" ТЧ тоже была настолько же непроходима, что пришлось выпустить столько же патчей.

Еще dx10-намокание при дожде, которое нигде кроме трейлеров не работало, пока Sky4CE шейдеры не пофиксил.

напомню: чн выпустили тупо недоделанным! отсюда и адова куча багов. а в версии движка циферка 5 после единички не зря появилась.
после релиза зп я считаю чн лучшей игрой серии, соответственно движок 1.5 - тоже.

что касается неработающих йоба-фич в чн, то загляните в соседнюю тему, посвященную зп.

Насчет выбора платформы - дело сугубо индивидуальное, для скриптера все-таки ТЧ сейчас предоставляет больше возможностей) Может рано или поздно общими усилиями будет сделан какой-нибудь X-RAY 2.0, который будет сочетать в себе все лучшее от трех частей, чтобы не было больше такого разделения, эх мечты... smile.gif
Касательно смены рук ЧН, существующими средствами седьмого патча подобное можно сделать и в ТЧ)
Видео я выкладывал сколько-то страниц назад)

Ага вот только в чн и зп происходит не подмена текстур рук а подмена модели рук с привязкой к костям анимации рук которые лежат прямо в модельке с оружием. Инверсная кинематика очень везкий аргумент т.к. визуально он действительно делает картинку приятнее когда смотришь как нпс идет по неровной поверхности(ну кроме бага когда аи сетка находится заметно ниже модели например доски). Рендер дх10 именно в ЧН самый лучший, даже зп не смог его переплюнуть. Единственный косяк ЧН это очень сильно измененные луа скрипты и соответсвенно многие функции что делает почти невозможно под чистую без багов перенести тч логику на чн двиг. Идеальный сталкер это полная поддержка родных скриптов тч на движке чн с маленькими граф фишками из зп.

Кстати да, из "адаптации 3120 под ТЧ" можно взять адаптированные под кинематику omf-ки и модель гг. Тогда останется только движок поправить.

Плагины никто не компилил? Новые (Maya 8.5 и 2008) ок, а вот старые не компилятся. Судя по коду, на них просто однажды забили и дальше компилили только новые.

Работало,я помню еще на 9800Gt под вистой смотрел и удивлялся.


Проще портировать под 11 D3D,местами затруднительно,но в целом воможно(Где то типы просто поменять,переписать компил шейдеров,очередь рендеринга,где то различия чисто мнимые -например,в 11ом часть методов девайса перенесено в контекст.Есть дока по переносу на сайте Майкрософт)
Я борюсь с отображением динамических моделек-не отображаются на d3d11-поломал

Обновил файлы луабинда. Какая-то фигня происходит с дефайнами, их убираешь из хидеров и свойств проектов, а для компилятора они продолжают действовать как ни в чем не бывал. Исходя из этого делаются неверные выводы, о собираемости проекта. Видимо надо полный ребилд запускать, удаляя все precompiled headers.

это целиком и полностью косяк "мододелов", которым всегда что-то мешает, а не движка. так можно то же самое сказать про UE, CE и прочие юнити, они, мол, косячные, ибо сталкеровские скрипты вообще не понимают.

Зачем тогда вообще его тащить в репозиторий, если неизвестно, нужно ли оно и работает ли вообще?
В директории sdk довольно много всего старого и нигде неиспользуемого.

А какой кусок исходника? Я чистую ревизию компилю, ничего не изменял, единственное, это в configuration manager поснимал галочки со всех файлов папки utils - сдк мне не требуется smile.gif С ними ошибок даже больше было =)

Все проекты в солюшене (включая utils) собираются без танцев с виртуальными дисками в VS 2013. Нужен DirectX SDK Jun 2010.
xrDXT модифицирован для работы с NVTT вместо nvDXT (см. 3rd parties). В самом NVTT пришлось поправить пару багов.
Плагины для древних версий Maya (4.5-8.0) удалил.

I'm very new to C++ and only really a beginner so I was hoping somebody would be willing to help me, despite me posting in English on a Russian forum wink.gif

I want to add basically everything Gunslinger is doing, but I realize nobody is going to do that for me.

Instead, I was interested in the following:
1) Environment mapping for weapons (done in R1 renderer already, just needs to be added to the others). I believe the file responsible for this is Blender_Model_EbB.cpp since I believe the shader "models\weapons" is the only model to use env^base.

2) Are bloodmarks on bodies possible in Clear Sky? I added the code K.D. did from X-Ray Extensions adding r__bloodmarks to the files, but nothing happens in-game. I modified the following files: xrRender_Console.cpp, xrRender_Console.h, r2_R_Render.cpp, wallmark_manager.cpp. Did I miss any files? Obiously I just copy/pasted the code.

Also, to the members of OGSE that post here: do you plan on releasing the code for different types of scope attachments, and the code for new attachments like underslung shotguns?

Сорри, это мой косяк с синхронизацией транков. Попробовал в этот раз залить хидеры с модификацией шаблонов под VS2013, надеюсь они будут благосклонно восприниматься и VS2010. А то вручную приходится по файлику копировать, это несколько ненадежно. Поскольку я закончил в основном экспорт объектов, в ближайшие дни сделаю отдельный бранч для своих коммитов. Теперь пошли эксперименты по уменьшению ресурсоемкости, оптимизации и т.п.
P.S.: Более информативно в случае проблем со сборкой выкладывать скриншот окна/вкладки "Error List" (Ctrl + \, E).

I'm trying to add enviornment mapping (which is in R1) to R2.

I narrowed it down to Blender_Model_EbB.cpp which is responsible for the shader models/weapons.

I already suspected it, but found out for sure when I did this to it:

That made all weapons invisible and nothing else.

So it seems as though ubber_deffer somehow needs to be called to use s_env in the shaders, but I'm stuck as to how.

Anybody have any ideas?

это "поправить" более походит на костыли для компилятора, а не баги. а вот замена vsscanf на обычный sscanf — это вообще вредительство, азбучный пример при такой замене выдает ожидаемый appcrach.

Стянул весь проект nvtt из репозитория xp-dev, чтобы не возиться с адаптацией оригинального. Даже не знал, что оно там так "поправлено". Верну взад smile.gif

Как и должно быть, получаем здесь undefined identifier, потому что xx и yy не видны в текущем скопе.
В какой-нибудь VS6 оно могло компилиться из-за бага самой студии, VS2013 такую шляпу уже не проглатывает.
Если оно где-то скомпилируется, xx и yy будут равны w и h соответственно, что приведет к чтению за пределами буфера.

Эта проблема уже была замечена и вместе с решением описана здесь.

Вот и возникает вопрос. Репозиториев наделали, nvdxt на nvtt заменили, а скомпилить никто даже не пробовал.
Весь код в репозитории должен быть валидным в любое время в независимости от состояния разработки, имхо.

с "xx/yy" все проще, ConeMap.cpp/h не использовался в проекте как минимум с 2007 года. однако даже VC6 не сможет увидеть инициализированные в цикле переменные, реально странный код )

p.s.
гмм... этот vsscanf оказывается тоже.

Коммитил эти "поправки" K.D., интересно было бы узнать его соображения.
Интересно, что в оригинальном nvtt Tokenizer.h тоже отключен.

вероятно, сорцы кучей скопировали без учета отсутствующих файлов в родном проекте. а компилятор такого прикола не воспринял )

В 1.0006 было из-за r2-правки "ВИРТУАЛЬНЫЙ РАДИУС ЛАМП".
