Are there any compilation DVDs with builds and mods for it with proper description and so on?
G-offspring
kriss, well, the pirates have released even the Shadow of Chernobyl with additional mods as a new add-on in 2007 smile.gif I've heard that they've released some bilds as well, but here at Gameinator we have the complete set of each and every build ever showed up in the net. happy.gif
All the necessary descriptions will be finished soon, as we've just opened the english section and it is not fully completed yet.

Are there any books based on Stalker? I know, that there were some of them released in Germany, but don't know if they were eventually translated to other languages.

Some of them are currently being translated into German, but I have no idea of English translations so far.

Bad new to me sad.gif

In the worst cases, many like me will try the Russian version, after the pirate version with text in English and finally the pirate version with text in our language. The game will have to be really good to go down the road to the store to buy it for 40 euros . A alternative is forget the game to 5 or 6 months, maybe is the better option . I was going to mount a new PC today following the departure of the ATI 5870, but now maybe not do so until next year.

We meet in spring 2010 in the West with Metro 2033 , a nice revenge tovarich Grigorovich laugh.gif .

Moreover, thank you very much for translating all these things, there is a huge language barrier to learn things from Russia and the CIS, thanks to god the Google translator is improving. But understand what the people write in the forums is difficult, on the news of the webs is more easy. The Cyrillic alphabet is a fence, we never get to learn the written language. I imagine that for the people of Russia is the same thing with the Latin alphabet, although I see that young people and the people who knows internet knows the English language. The "lingua franca" of our time, like Latin in the past in Europe , like it or not.

Finally ... very disappointing to me . I'm sad there is not interesting PC games until Metro 2033 . I think I will buy the PS3 and with my 360 , perphas become a console-boy . A horrible end for my gamer life biggrin.gif rip.gif z_crazy.gif ,

Thanks camrades , very good people in Gameinator and Russia and Ukraine
G-offspring
Jonelo, well if the russian version of CoP will be available for the digital purchase, you can buy it and then install a pirate localisation. The copy protection won't be broken in 1 or even 2 weeks after the russian release, so if you want the game so badly, I think it'll be the fastest option. In russian digital shops games never cost more than 10-13 euros. (but who knows when the pirate localisation will be available...).

If you'd be raised in Russia in the 90-s, you'd know for sure, that all the console games have no soul smile.gif

Do you have a link to the digital versions ? It is very cheap for the West in euros. Maybe if there is a good English version , I try to play the game, although my English is very bad. But 12 dolars - 9 euros - or even 18 - 13 euros - is cheap in euros .

Thanks
G-offspring
Jonelo, well, I've only found the russian version of the game in the net - the worldwide release is in spring... but if you're interested - the russian version costs 10,27 Euros (450 rubles). It is a pain in the ass to purchase something in russian digital shops, when you're outside Russia (proxies and stuff...), moreover you can download it from torrents - there's some cracks for Windows 7 and XP already available (yeah, my analytics about a weak after the release sucked). Should I give you the link for the russian version? smile.gif
Jonelo
But is necesary a a proxy? laugh.gif . I would not mind to pay 10 euros a Russian version, but would have to see if possible get it. I got the pirate version since the day that appeared in Russia). Put you the link, at least to know where this available.

Thanks
kriss
I can see it is even cheaper in Ukraine, about 150 rub. Are there any shops in Russia/Ukraine that will ship Russian version of CoP to Poland?
G-offspring
kriss, I don't know about Ukraine, but Russian internet shops don't usually ship CD/DVD outside Russia - the only possibility is the digital purchase.

Jonelo, as far as I could found, the single online shop, where you can download the CoP, is this one. You may need to use the proxie to either make a payment or to activate the game. You can find the Russian proxies here, at the bottom of the page, though you'll need to check them before use, as some may be dead or slow sad.gif
It is normally works, as I have already purchased a game once, being outside Russia, using the other shop, though. You can try smile.gif

Thank you very much, G-offspring .
